MAKEUP & SPECIAL EFFECTS ARTIST
I have a diverse portfolio in makeup artistry, from working with the SAS on warships creating casualty simulated catastrophic injuries to working at children's birthday parties. Each job fills me with excitement as I get to transform the aesthetics of the face and body, not just for beauty but additionally for training to help save lives or to tell a story. I graduated with a diploma level 3 in Theatrical Hair and Make Up for TV, Film and Stage as well as studying a diploma level 2 in beauty. I have been lucky enough to work for two large companies who are contracted by the British Military and Emergency Services to provide casualty simulation makeup for medical and terrorist training. This career is hugely diverse and has taken me around the world working in hospitals, on ships, in planes and in the middle of the Croatian mountains.
